Last weekend, we celebrated Etsy’s 11th Birthday with a craft party and fair. Blissful Soiree co-hosted it’s first Etsy Craft Party & Fair, along with others around the world.
Big thank you to Vino Artino, a local wine & painting studio! The studio Owner, Connie, and I have gotten to know each other better throughout the past few years. When she agreed to let me host this event in her stuido, I was beyond excited. Jumped in and made this event happen even though I was extremely nervous.
We were able to showcase 11 local Houston Etsy shops. This was the first event some of our vendors had ever participated in. Major failure alert in the picture department but here are a few of the shoppers and vendors. What you don’t see is a whole craft room. My good friend, Jenny, worked with guests on 5 different crafts throughout the event such as wineglass painting, canvas painting, coasters, bobby pins and even some adult coloring. Got to network with lots of people, some guest now know what Etsy is all about, vendors got exposure and made money, people left with free goodies and smiles on their face from the fun they had. Should I get another opportunity like this, we will celebrate yearly. I consider this experience such a success.
Additional thanks to all who made a donation for our door prizes and swag bags!
